Buffet Options

This menu starts at $70.00 + GST per head.  Variations and other option can be discussed.    We will use our imagination to work within your budget.

You choose:

  • 3 options from the selection offered in meat, seafood & hots

  • 3 options from the salads

  • 3 options from the desserts

All buffets come with:

  • Steamed Baby Potato’s or a Potato Gratin

  • Seasonal Steamed Vegetable’s with fresh Hollandaise sauce or a Cheesy White Sauce

  • Basket of Warm Dinner Rolls

Meat Options
  • Ham on the Bone glazed with marmalade, maple syrup, citrus oil, and mustard

  • Whole Fillet of Beef seasoned with smoked salt & oven roasted to med/rare with lemon and Horse radish crème fraiche

  • Slow roasted seasoned Leg of Lamb or Hogget with a spring couli of fresh herbs and garlic

  • Chicken Breast slow cooked with zesty lemon, fresh herbs and red onions (can be whole chicken)

  • Rolled and Rlow Roasted Pork with garlic, rosemary and apple cider

  • Chicken Roulade wrapped in streaky bacon and fresh tarragon

  • Caramelized Pork Belly with Feijoa and Apple Relish

  • Beef Wellington with caramelized onion sauce

Seafood Options
  • Salmon whole stuffed with fresh herbs & oven baked

  • Chilled Poached Salmon w' beetroot relish and basil mayo

  • Whole Baked Fish e.g. Monk Fish, Snapper seasoned with fresh herbs, smoked salt & lemon zest

  • Prawn, Scallop and White Fish Kebab

  • Whole Fresh Marlborough Mussels steamed in Marlborough Savvy, fresh herbs, garlic & a dash of cream

  • Mediterean Baked Fish parcel with herbed butter

  • Seafood Mornay in cups, individual serves

Vegetarian Options-Can be Vegan
  • Veggie Feijoada (sweet potato & kidney beans in Brazilian stew)

  • Vegetable Tangine w' harissa yoghurt

  • Split Pea & Capsicum Curry w' yoghurt & coriander on coconut rice

  • Moroccan Vege & Lentil Stew w' cous cous

  • Vegan Roast & Gravy w' scrumptious stuffed butternut pumpkin

  • Red Lentil Dhal w' cashew topping

  • Garlic Tofu & stir-fried Asian vege on wild rice

Hot Pot Options
  • Scallop and White fish Champagne Mornay

  • Lamb Tangine lovely Moroccan spices with apricots

  • Venison, Strawberry and Sundried Tomato hot pot

  • Seafood Risotto poached with sea water and fresh herbs

  • Chicken with Mushrooms, Sundried Tomatoes’ in creamy wine sauce

  • Tuscan Chicken with a colourful capsicum sauce

  • Beef Broccoli and Black Bean sauce with noodles and toasted cashews

  • Rich Beef, Mushroom and Red Wine Casserole (Bourguignon Style)

  • Malay Coconut fish curry

  • Beef Ragu (rich Italian tomato casserole)

Salad Selection
  • Traditional Greek Salad

  • Chunky Tabbouleh with fresh mint and parsley

  • Roasted Pumpkin, feta, tomato, & basil with or without chickpeas

  • Roasted root vege, barley salad with ranch dressing

  • Summer pineapple & sprout salad with a zingy passion-fruit dressing

  • Chickpea, beetroot, feta and nut salad

  • Char-grilled vege, with rocket, barley and basil infused oil dressing

  • Asian noodle with a sweet chili dressing and cashews

  • Asian fried rice salad with egg omelette topping

  • Brown Rice, Quinoa, edamame beans, broccoli etc w' apricot dressing

  • Mediterranean Bean salad with mushrooms, capsicums and fresh mint

  • Rainbow Orzo pasta w' mango, capsicum & cucumber

  • Traditional Coleslaw need we say more great for the younger guests

  • Summer Pasta Salad with fresh mint dressing

  • Bean Niçoise with Israeli cous cous and a lite balsamic dressing

  • Kitchari Lentils w’ spicy Cashews, cucumber, red onion & baby spinach

  • Mexican corn pasta salad

  • Cumin roasted cauliflower, chickpea & minted tabbouleh salad

  • Israeli cous cous w’ broad beans, mint, rocket, feta & roasted baby tomato’s

Desserts come with yoghurt and cream.

Other Ideas
  • Selection of NZ Cheese:  served with dried fruit, nuts, chocolate, grapes, chutney and crackers - $8.00 + GST per head

  • Candy Bar:  You choose the types and colour of candy you would like for your bar.  We source it and set it up to compliment your desserts - POA

  • Cupcake Bar:  A cup cake tree is set up to compliment your dessert table - POA

  • Popcorn Snack Bowls: We can supply popcorn on the tables when your guests arrive to snack on while speeches or other events are happening - POA
